Laura Aquilli & Ergian Alberg arbeiteten seit 1999 für verschiedene international anerkannte Büros in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Rom, London und Peking (China): Zaha Hadid, OMA, UNStudio, ONL und Massimiliano Fuksas. Das in 2006 gegründete experimentelle, innovative und internationale Design- und Architekturbüro AQUILIALBERG mit Sitz in Mailand, Italien, hat weit reichende Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Architektur, Innenarchitektur, Produktdesign, Urbanismus und Infrastruktur verschiedenen Ausmaßes und auf unterschiedlichen Entwicklungsebenen. Dabei werden die Nachforschungen und die Technologie mit einem multikulturellen und multidisziplinären Ansatz angegangen. Kooperationen umfassen: Moroso, Corian, Serralunga, RITZENHOFF und das Auktionshaus Christie, für das sie die neue Hauptniederlassung in Mailand und das neuen Konzept für die Hauptausstellung in Mailand und Rom entworfen haben. Sie sind die ernannten Architekten für Siedlungsprojekte und einen ehrgeizigen touristischen Hafen. Sie haben die „La città Fragile“-Ausstellung im La Triennale di Milano entworfen. Die Provincia di Milano und die Camera di Commercio zeichnete AQUILIALBERG mit dem Preis „New Creative & Innovative Company 2008“ aus. In ihrem Blog “Des-art-chitecture” – den Sie für die NOVA100-Onlinezeitung, unterstützt durch Il Sole 24 Ore schreiben – behaupten Sie an „Emotionaler, digitaler und technologischer Fremdbestäubung zwischen Design, Kunst und Architektur“ beteiligt zu sein.

Arbeiten von AQUILIALBERG wurden weltweit veröffentlicht und ausgestellt. Sie haben an der ersten internationalen Ausgabe der „Pecha Kucha Night“ im Bovisa Triennale in Mailand, am „Milano in Progress“ während der „Innovation Circus“ Veranstaltung, dem „Rizoma“ (Young Architects Biennale), am „Beyond the Media“ 2009 und am „CanActions“ (Biennale di architettura in Kiew) teilgenommen. Sie haben zusammen mit Kas Oosterhuis die Lehrveranstaltung „Theoretischer Hintergrund unter Einfluss digitaler Technologie auf die Gesellschaft, Kultur & Architektur“ an der TUDelft, Universität der Technologie, im Rahmen des internationalen Masterprogramms „Hyperbody“, gegeben.

From 1999 onwards, Laura Aquili & Ergian Alberg worked in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Rome, London and Beijing for different internationally recognized offices: Zaha Hadid, OMA, UNStudio, ONL and Massimiliano Fuksas. Founded in 2006, AquiliAlberg is an experimental and innovative, international architectural and design practice based in Milan, Italy, with extensive experience in the fields of architecture, interior design, product design, urbanism, and infrastructure at different scale and development levels; approaching research and technology with a multicultural and multidisciplinary attitude. Their previous collaborations have included working with: Moroso, Corian, Serralunga, Ritzenhoff, and Christie’s Auction House for whom they designed the new Italian headquarters in Milan, and their new main exhibition layouts in Milan and Rome. They have been contracted as architects for housing projects and an ambitious tourist harbour. They also designed the “La città Fragile” exhibition grounds at La Triennale di Milano. Provincia di Milano and Camera di Commercio presented AquiliAlberg with the “New Creative & Innovative Company 2008” award. Their blog — written for “Des-art-chitecture”, the NOVA100 online newspaper and powered by Il Sole 24 Ore — claims that they are involved in “Emotional, digital and technological cross-pollination between design, art and architecture”. Works by AquiliAlberg have been published and exhibited around the globe.
