Udo Broderius

*1954, Modelleur in Merzig, Deutschland. Nach fundierter Ausbildung zum Kerammodelleur schafft er Formen und Vorlagen für die Kollektionen eines großen deutschen Porzellanherstellers – und übernimmt bald anspruchsvolle Aufgaben im Bereich Produktentwicklung. Heute betreut er als selbständiger Kreativer weltweit Projekte, vom Entwurf bis zur Produktion.

*1954, Modelleur in Merzig, Germany. He created moulds and samples for a china collection belonging to a large German bone china manufacturer subsequent to a sound apprenticeship as a ceramics modeller - and soon after he was to take on the challenging tasks in the product development department. Today as a freelance creator he supervises world-wide projects from design through to the production stage.

Wolf Kernagel

*1940, Produktdesigner in Berlin, Deutschland. Ästhetische Form, praktisch im Gebrauch: Das ist die Maxime von Karnagels vielfach prämiertem Produktdesign. In internationalen Sammlungen und Ausstellungen vertreten und von namhaften Kunden geschätzt, lässt er als Professor für Industrial Design auch seine Studenten von seiner reichen gestalterischen Erfahrung profitieren.

*1940, product designer in Berlin, Germany. Aesthetic design, practical in use: this is Karnagel’s maxim for his multiply awarded product designs. Represented in numerous international collections and exhibitions and appreciated by well-known clients, he also allows his students to profit from his opulent design experience as a professor of Industrial Design.

Karim Rashid

*1960, Designer in Toronto und New York, CAN/USA. Geboren in Kairo, studiert in Kanada, gelernt in Italien bei den Designgrößen Gaetano Pesce und Ettore Sottsass – Rashid hat viel gesehen, bevor er sein Studio in New York eröffnete. Sucht und findet dort die gestalterischen Spielräume, die sich im Alltag bieten, aber nur selten jemand nutzt, für seine ständig neuen Einfälle.
